KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND PRACTICE ON BREAST SELF EXAMINATION AMONG FEMALES IN ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA

Breast self-examination (BSE) is recommended by the World Health Organization for resource-limited countries early detection and management of breast cancer. This study will assess knowledge attitude, practice among adult females living in Addis Ababa. A community-based cross-sectional was conducted March 2022 Structured questionnaires were entered into Google form then shared using different social media, 302 participants obtained. IBM SPSS version 26 used analysis. The total score attitude 18 5 respectively, those who scored above average considered as having good attitude. 60.6%of between age twenty forty, 62.2% respondents graduated from high school or undergraduate level. Knowledge about cancer significantly religion (p<0.001), educational level profession (p<0.001). Those perform BSE compared with did not perform.
